Kiwi kids keen to prove they are the worldest largest ukulele orchestra

After more than 3 attempts this year to break the world record for ukulele playing, the Kiwilesles orchestra is set to break the record at the BNZ Ukulele Festival at Mt Smart Stadium on November 21st.

London currently holds the record at 851 players but the Kiwilesles orchestra now boasts over 1200 players and is confident the record will be broken!

The Kiwilesles will again be gathering at Mt Smart Stadium on Friday the 13th November for a pre festival rehearsal in which they will be forming a giant ukulele holding their colourful ukes skywards. An aerial photographer will be taken to back their claim that NZ in fact has the biggest ukulele orchestra in the world.
